Belgium’s record-setting poker stop poised to draw global players vying for PokerStars Open crowns and Live League points

(AsiaGameHub) –   PokerStars is gearing up to return to Circus Casino Resort Namur from May 27 to June 7 for the PokerStars Open Namur, one of Europe’s fastest-growing live poker festivals.

Following the record-breaking 2025 edition—which generated the largest live tournament prize pool in Belgian poker history and attracted 1,571 entries just for the Main Event—the PokerStars Open Namur makes its comeback tomorrow.

At the core of the festival is the €1,100 PokerStars Open Main Event, featuring a massive €1 million guaranteed prize pool. Alongside it is a packed schedule of side events, high-roller games, and mixed-game formats designed to appeal to players of all levels, from first-time qualifiers to established pros.

“Last year’s turnout reinforced Namur’s place as one of the most exciting live poker stops in Europe,” said Cedric Billot, Associate Director of Live Events Operations at PokerStars. “What makes the event special isn’t just the size of the fields, it’s the atmosphere around the entire festival.”

France’s Jean-Vincent Lehut claimed last year’s Main Event title, topping the record-breaking field to win €238,000 after five days of play.

The PokerStars Open Namur also serves as another major stop in the PokerStars Live League, where players compete across High, Medium, and Low leaderboard tiers for a share of €157,500 in PokerStars LIVE event credit. The top 30 players in each tier will also qualify for a special €100,000 freeroll at the first European Poker Tour festival of 2027. Players can track leaderboard standings and live results via the PokerStars LIVE app.
